Nursing Preceptor Opportunities
Help guide the future of nursing.
Mentor nursing students of Washtenaw Community College in their last semester as they transition into
careers in the world of nursing. Preceptors are vital to the success and retention of newly graduated
nursing students and provide an opportunity to bridge the gap between education and practice.
Nursing Preceptors must be Registered Nurses in Michigan, have at least one (1) year in practice, and be employed with a facility not affiliated with ACEMAPP.
Nursing Preceptors at Washtenaw Community College:
- Take advantage of free access to Nurse TIM for CEUs
- Exercise abilities in leadership and mentoring skills
- Build experience for resume and professional development
- Receive $100 stipend after completing Preceptor Orientation
